The only open-air pickup in the industry

The Jeep Gladiator is the only open-air pickup truck in the industry. It's built to be able to take on the roughest off-road trails. Its Sunrider soft top or Freedom Top hardtop are easily removable. You can also fold down the windshield of the Gladiator EcoDiesel and remove its 4 doors just as easily. Freedom and adventure in the heart of nature are tours for the taking.

The power of the 2021 Gladiator EcoDiesel

The new 2021 Gladiator EcoDiesel, soon to see at your DDO Jeep dealership near Montreal, is powered by a 3.0-litre EcoDiesel V6 engine with dual overhead camshafts. This fascinating pickup boasts 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. Although we don't know its towing capacity yet, it may well be greater than the 2020 Gladiator's 3,470 kg (7,650 lb) with its 3.6-litre V6 gas engine.

The EcoDiesel will be available in the 2021 Gladiator's Sport, Overland and Rubicon grades.

Reducing Emissions

The Gladiator EcoDiesel comes with a new 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission, specially designed for low-speed gear shifts. This new TorqueFlite transmission features the automatic Engine Stop/Start technology that saves fuel and reduces emissions. To further reduce emissions, a 19.3-litre tanks of urea liquid is installed next to the diesel tank.

Dana Axles

The 2021 Jeep Gladiator EcoDiesel features Dana 44 axles with an axle ratio of 3.73:1. The Sport and Overland models also receive a Command-Trac transfer case with two speed ranges and a 2.72:1 low-range gear ratio, and the Rubicon receives a Rock-Trac transfer case with a 4:1 low-range ratio.
